The Cast

Anitra BrooksAnitra Brooks (Juanita Lee) is an actor, singer/songwriter, puppeteer, wilderness instructor and banjoist. She works with New York's "bad-ass masters of vocalogy" Hot Mouth, as well as the internationally known foam-rubber creature theatre ensemble and masked musicians known as Big Nazo. As a solo performance artist, she has written and performed a number of works in New York and New England including Warning, El Desierto, and Roaches in my Drawers. Other work in New York includes Panther Women at LaMama, The Old Man's Magic at The National Black Theatre and a number of television shows, commercials and independent films. Anitra is a graduate of Brown University where she received a BA in Theatre Arts.

Paschal Frisina IIIPaschal Frisina III (Actor 1/2/3) is proud to be in his NYC debut at the Kraine Theatre. He recently returned from a five-month entertainment contract onboard the Palm Beach Princess Cruise Line. Previous credits include an equity production of Forever Plaid (Sparky, Jinx), Grease (Danny Zuko), South Pacific (U/S Lt. Cable) with Mark Jacoby, Chess (Anatoly-the Russian), The Who's Tommy (Cousin Kevin), and over 23 productions at Niagara University, NY where he graduated in 2000. Paschal would like to dedicate every performance to God, his parents(Pasquale and Rosemary), sister (Maria), and Kristen for keeping him focused and thankful for his talents everyday.

Johnny Kitt
Johnny Kitt* (Canada Lee) is very proud to be a part of this production. He is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a B.A.in Theatre and Film. He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and was an acting apprentice with the Negro Ensemble Company. I would like to thank God, my family, my friends and my loves.

  

Beth LeinBeth Lein (Frances Lee) just moved to New York after completing a classical training program in London at the Drama Studio. Before London she lived in San Francisco where she was seen of several stages including The Next Stage and Berkeley Rep. Films leads include "I Keep My Eyes Peeled" (winner of the Black Maria Film Festival) and "The Egg" (winner of the iFilm Shorts Competition).

Sheila LewandowskiSheila Lewandowski (Actor 1/2/3) is a co-founder of theater et al, appearing in its productions Cowboy, Goat Island, Secrets of the Yellow Room, The Zykovs, Chronicles of Hell, Bedbug, Life's Call and The (Low Life) Cherry Orchard. Additional credits: Notes/Directions (The American Living Room), Concave is the Opposite of Convex (HEXTC). She is a graduate of Bennington College where she majored in playwrighting and classical singing.

Michael Craig Patterson

Michael Craig Patterson (Lovey Canegata)
A graduate of the American Conservatory Theatre MFA Program, Michael has studied with Deborah Sussel, Jack Fletcher, and Joseph Chaikin. His many stage credits include Suzan-Lori Parks' Venus; Oregon Shakespeare Festival's Timon of Athens; and Lovey in last year's reading of Becoming Something: Canada Lee at the Lee Strasberg Institute in San Francisco.

Patrick Riviere
Patrick Riviere* (Actor 1/2/3) is grateful to Traci and Mona for this exciting project, working with some amazing artists from his past! Roles in over 50 productions in NYC and regionally. Also a teacher, playwright and director, he consults for NYU's Tisch School of the Arts when not acting. His newest play, House of Nunzio, is scheduled to have a reading this fall. B.A. Theatre/English (cum laude) from Niagara U. Thanks Bro!

Christopher WisnerChristopher Wisner* (Ed Sullivan) graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in Theatre Studies from Niagara University in 1997. He was seen most recently at Rose's Turn in his cabaret show Sans Pants. He is a founding member of the Modern Classics Stage Company where he was seen as the Interrogator in Bobby Gould in Hell. Mr. Wisner is thrilled to be working with Traci and Mona once again and would like to thank them for allowing him to be a part of this incredible play. Thanks also to his amazing friends and loving family for all of their suppport. His performance in this piece is dedicated to his brand new niece Isabel.
